Advanced Orthopedics offer a full range of on-site physical therapy services to complement our physicians' treatment. The goal is to rehabilitate patients in as timely a manner as possible so that they may return to their functional activities more quickly. The Advanced Orthopedics Physical Therapy Department is a bright, energetic environment where an emphasis on manual and exercise therapy is practiced. Referrals are accepted from outside physicians and where insurance coverage is granted. We are happy to help confirm this coverage.

We offer extended hours of service from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday to provide added convenience for our patients.

Derek Price, PT, is the Director of Therapy Services for Advanced Orthopedics. Originally from the United Kingdom, Derek is a graduate of Brunel University College, London, England and has specialized in orthopedic physical therapy since 1996. He has a strong background in exercise therapy and is a proponent of manual therapy. 

Advanced Orthopedics employs three licensed Physical Therapist Assistants who work closely with Derek to provide a complete and systematic plan of care. Close communication is maintained with the physicians to ensure as uneventful a rehabilitation process as is possible. Our physicians regularly follow up with their patients while they are rehabilitating in the Physical Therapy department. This ensures minimal inconvenience to the patient while maximizing communication between the physician and therapy staff.

The department also has a dedicated administrative assistant responsible for scheduling, insurance and other supporting duties.
